Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Polytechnic proudly organized a Cleanliness Drive under the nationwide Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, reaffirming its commitment to environmental sustainability and community responsibility. This initiative aimed to promote hygiene, raise awareness about cleanliness, and encourage active participation from students and staff in keeping the campus and surrounding areas clean.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and non-teaching staff who collectively cleaned various parts of the campus, including classrooms, laboratories, corridors, and nearby public areas. Placards and posters with cleanliness messages were displayed to spread awareness about hygiene and waste management.
Special guest speakers highlighted the significance of the Swachh Bharat Mission, launched by the Government of India, and emphasized the role of youth in transforming India into a cleaner, healthier nation.
This event was not only a step towards a cleaner environment but also served as a practical lesson in civic responsibility and environmental stewardship.
